We will start the trip with a drive and hike to Maukallacta Inca site. After recognition of this sacred point. After this recognition will have lunch. After Wilkacunca pass we will go down to Molle Molle village an then uphill to Huanoquite town at the Willkacunca pass at 13,874 ft. At this point, we will take a time to admire the impressive view of the Apurimac river gorge, the headwater of the Amazon river. After a walk through old native forest will camp besides a magical waterfall at Loretuyoc Bridge
After Breakfast will do a short hike into Loretuyoc forest to then discover a royal Inca highway coming from Cusco to the Apurimac River. After a 2 hour walk, we will drive to Kusichaca remains at Rocoto Village. we will arrive at Inca Bridge of Huajachaca, used by Inca cultures to exchange goods from the Pacific Ocean into Cusco. We will have lunch here. From here will start our trip through the river.
Will follow the river across calm waters and black rocks into Santo Tomas River, here big rapids are formed we will go through class II and class III rapids at “ Tres Condores”. After our river adventure we will have lunch in a sandy river beach
We will run the most intense sets of class III to IV pool drops rapids, called “The other right”, this adventure also includes exploration of the surrounding waterfalls creeks. After our adventure, wi will have a 4-hour drive back to Cusco.
