Enjoy the Sacred Valley from the River!:

Start the tour on easy waters and enjoy the view of mountains and archeological remains in the Sacred Valley of The Incas, nearby Ollantaytambo, the last Inca leaving town and Ollantaytambo train station to Machu Picchu. At 9:30 am our team of guides will be waiting for the traveler´s arrival with all the equipment ready at our river put-in campsite located in Pachar, Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here you will receive your rafting equipment and a safety briefing. We have changing rooms and toilet facilities available. After a brief period practicing on the flat parts of the river, we will start our journey on easy whitewater, while we admire the spectacular view of the mountains and archaeological remains. We will continue towards Ollantaytambo and its amazing Inca terraces, at the time we will experience rapids class II and III, to finish with “El Resbaladero” (The Slide), a strong class 3 rapid that includes waves and small whirlpools. We will then reach our private river take out campsite located in the community of Cachiccata, just 10 minutes by car from Ollantaytambo. Lunch and drinks available at our campsite.
